If you have been following The Crochet Dude or Vickie Howell, you know that they (with a few thousand others) were just recently at the Craft and Hobby Association’s trade show in Anaheim. What you didn’t get to see (since it was closed to the public) is the amazing booth wall that was hand crafted for The Taunton Press display booth. You may have seen glimpses of the wall in photographs taken, but nothing that gives the full impact of what their team accomplished together.
As I was browsing today I noticed that CraftStylish (part of Taunton Press) not only posted great pictures of the wall, but a complete how to section with detailed instructions on how to create it yourself.
It makes me want to do this to a wall in my house REAL BAD. Anybody have a few hundred extra magazines they don’t need?
Check it out here.

You could even style the look of the wall by choosing magazines of the same ilk. Like using ‘Dwell’ and ‘Real Simple’ for a modern color palette. Or using ‘National Geographic’ for a natural feel. Hmmmmm……

Good idea on the National Geographic, since people have stockpiled those for years, wondering what to do with them. Probably easily available at flea markets and garage sales, or maybe even the local libraries, since tons of people try to donate them.
The wall looks amazing!

I bet that you could even pick up many copies of expired issues from a publisher, or a larger store like Borders. Time to get out your bone folder!
